Marshview Cottage
Location: Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick.

This is the first season for Marshview Cottage which has been completely renovated
and equipped to a very high standard.
Marshview Cottage looks out onto Castalia Marsh, one of the top places to watch birds.
Migratory shorebirds flock to Castalia Marsh and other birds stop on Grand Manan as a resting place in the middle of the Bay of Fundy.
We have provided binoculars and a telescope for your use.
Watch the sun rise over the Bay of Fundy. The fully glassed Living Room and deck provide a gorgeous panoramic view of Castalia Marsh, across the harbour to Swallowtail Lighthouse. As you enter the home, this view is visible from the kitchen, dining room
and living room. Ocean breezes mean only ceiling fans are required. Centrally located on the island, you are close to the grocery store and liquor/beer store. After a day on the beach searching for sea glass, or at the lighthouses, the best whale watching on the East Coast, hiking, biking, sightseeing, kayaking, birdwatching or one of the many other available activities, you can be assured of a comfortable cottage to return to relax in the evening.
If you don't want to cook for yourself, there are a number of good restaurants on the island and reservations are recommended. Fresh fish and lobster are always available. Enjoy fantastic stargazing with the provided telescope. Watch your 40inch flatscreen TV.
With over two acres, your small dog will love this holiday as much as you.
All of the watercolour paintings in Marshview Cottage are done by the owner to capture the beauty that is on Grand Manan.
